About chris54

My name is Chris and i am 17 years old. I worked all through high school so that i could pay my own bills and school activities, such as band and drumline. Once i turn 18 on July 1, 2009, i will be expected to live completely on my own, without any economic help from my parents. Partially because my mother has no job, and her boyfriend supports her and my brother. I have not talked to my actual father for over 5 years, and have sent him letters for financial aid but he has done nothing. Even though he makes more than enough money for himself as a loneshoremen(crane operator). I am supposed to move out as soon as i turn 18 because my moms boyfriend does not want me there anymore, and my mom doesn't do anything  about it.

I have been accepted to Chapman University, Cal State U. Long Beach, CSU Fullerton, CSU Northridge, and CSU LA. I intend on going to Cal state Long Beach to obtain my Bachelors Degree. So then i could pursue a successful career to be able to support a family and children of my own, who do not have to go through such neglect and who have a father that will be there for them forever.

I plan on dorming at CSULB, because my family wants me out on my 18th birthday, although i do not have the financial ability to do that completely on my own i have filed the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), i also hope to receive a few scholarships that i have applied for.

Anything will help, please and thank you

Yours Truly  Chris  Miranda
